‘Music for Everyone’ Over the year, every single Oundle musician has the opportunity to get on stage and perform as a soloist and/or in an ensemble. Oundle offers an impressive weekly timetable of around 900 instrumental music lessons and 120 academic lessons as well as over forty ensembles, all nurtured by forty visiting music teachers and ten full-time staff.
Lunchtime Concerts Thursdays 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th November and 3rd December St Peter’s Church, Oundle, 1.15pm Join us on Market Days in this beautiful church setting in Oundle for neatly presented and diverse free concerts. Lunch is offered in the form of homemade soup and bread rolls from 1pm for £3.50, provided by Rachael Kelley of The Little Soup Kitchen. Good company, wholesome food, delightful music – surely the perfect line-up.

Massed string players involving three of Oundle’s string orchestras, the RCM String Quartet and as many younger players as possible, will converge on the Great Hall, working with Angus Gibbon (Head of Strings) and Quentin Thomas (Director of Music). Trombone Society Sunday 15th November, 5pm Great Hall, New Street, Oundle On the 30th anniversary of the Trombone Society, some of the world’s finest trombonists of all ages and abilities come together to work and perform as a Massed Trombone Choir.
Members of Her Majesty’s Sackbuts and Cornets will be performing, as well as Sackbut students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Our Oundle School Jazz Orchestra (OSJO) will be supporting.
