Firstly, there has been a lot of talk across social media about us over the past few weeks which has generated quite a few questions. So what has been happening to generate all the talk? A planning application has been submitted for a new site off the A6 in Irthlingborough. The current site cannot be expanded any further and so, to facilitate growth, a new site has been sought. Starting with RHS Malvern on 7th May, we follow this with Gardeners World on the 18th June, Sandringham Flower Show on Wednesday 27th July and pack your bucket and spade for our trip to the seaside at Hunstanton on 14th August. More trips will follow. Remember all our trips start from Bosworth’s in Burton Latimer with no other stops or pick-ups en route. Do you hold a Reward Card with us? If you do we now have a Bosworth’s Loyalty App. Not only can you use the digital app for gaining points, but you can see your points balance and all your receipts in one place. We will be marking the occasion at the garden centre too, with colourful displays of red, white and blue throughout the plant area and bunting in the café. If you are looking to create a tribute in your own garden we have hanging baskets, planted containers or a range of plants create your own display. We are open throughout the long bank holiday weekend at both sites so if you are planning a bit of gardening drop in and see us. Alternatively, if relaxing is more your thing than gardening then we have a range of garden furniture from recliners to full dining sets available from both our Burton Latimer and Elton sites. Delivery is available on all our furniture sets, so if you are looking to upgrade your existing furniture or adding something extra, drop down and see us. You might also want to get involved in The Queen’s Green Canopy (queensgreencanopy.org). The initiative to mark the Platinum Jubilee invites you to “Plant a tree for the Jubilee”. Everyone is encouraged to take part from individuals to groups and clubs to enhance our environment. Planting will commence again from October through to March. We have a range of trees available and can offer help and advice on choosing and planting your tree. Don’t forget to register your planting on their website too.
