Late Summer Dahlias

Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens are renowned for their impressive array of picture-perfect dahlias, and this year they once again steal the show. Kelmarsh Hall which have been shortlisted for Historic Houses 2021 prestigious ‘Garden of the Year’ award open their English Country Garden throughout the season.

From pastels to bright, dahlias put on a show from the late summer and autumn, with an array of starburst blooms and plate-sized fl owers, in every hue imaginable. The historic triangular walled garden hosts a beautiful varied display for visitors to enjoy. This secret heart of the gardens is a relaxing space fi lled with traditional fruit and vegetables, cut fl ower beds, and a restored vinery.

Open Season still in September Visit Kelmarsh Gardens, woodland and lakeside walks until Thursday 30th September on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, and Bank Holiday Mondays from 10am to 4pm. To help protect each other, Kelmarsh Hall has all of the required COVID precautions in place to ensure a safe visit.

Vote for Garden of the Year

If you enjoy the picture-perfect dahlia display at Kelmarsh Hall, voting is still open for Garden of the Year, voted by the general public. Voting is free and open to anyone but restricted to one vote per person. Voting closes on Thursday 30th September 2021, with the results announced at the Historic Houses AGM in November.
