Hardy Plant Fair, 10am – 4pm The 12th Hardy Plant Fair will feature around 25 exhibitors from regional nurseries, mostly selling herbaceous perennials. Admission includes entry to a talk, admission to the gardens, free parking, cooking demonstrations and a free plant crèche. Admission is £4.50 for adults, with children under 14 free.
Tuesday 14th May Gardens open for the National Garden Scheme, please see page 84 for details.
Wednesday 15th May Talk: Ladies at War, 2pm Speaker Fred West will cover the exploits of female agents who worked for the Special Operations Executive - SOE - and the ladies of the Air Transport Auxiliary who ferried aircraft around the country. Entry is £5 which includes admission to the gardens.
Wednesday 12th June: Talk: Plants & Alpines, 2pm Join us for a talk by Anita Thorp, who has 40 years’ experience in herb-growing, as she explains some of the folklore surrounding herbs. Tickets are £5 which includes admission to the gardens.
