Appreciating
Murano Glass

Murano is located a mile from
the main city of Venice, and it is
believed that glassmaking started
here as far back as 8th century
Rome.

By the end of the 16th century,
Murano was a leading European
glassmaking centre which
continued to evolve becoming
famous for artistic and elaborate
glasswares.

These centuries-old skills are still
used by Murano craftsmen today.
The product range is vast and is
exemplified by the Murano magic
that creates infinite combinations
of transparent colours.
