Are you ready to play on Saturday 3rd July?

The Music Barn Festival was set up with the intention of raising money for local palliative care hospice, the Cransley Hospice. Over the past six years, we have raised nearly £60,000 for the Hospice along with a range of other worthwhile causes. In 2020, the Festival was postponed due to the ongoing Covid 19 Pandemic. However, it is planning to come back with a bang on 3rd July 2021.

The festival is set across two acres of farmland just outside of Cranford, centred around some disused agricultural buildings: a unique music venue. Starting at 2pm and fi nishing late this is an adult-only event which has become a highlight of the local music scene. The festival features a wide variety of music and activities, with established acts rubbing shoulders with unsigned bands, from a broad spectrum of musical genres. At the event you could listen to an up-and-coming rock band or maybe throw down some moves to an Old Skool hip hop DJ or just kick back in the summer sun while sipping a locally brewed cider. You can be as busy or as chilled as you want to be…

This year, headlining the main stage will be one of the founders of the Ska sound The Beat GB, with support from psych rockers Thee Telepaths, Eevah and The Keepers. In the Stone Barn, Too Many Ts will perform their iconic party hip hop supported by scratch specialist DJ OP1, Madame Electrifi e and Bristol-based group The Scribes. The Old Forge Coffee Shop, Cranford, returns to the Acoustic Tent with local legends The Ouse Valley Singles Club headlining, supported by Stevie Jones & the Wildfi res, The Doll Drums and Aldous Pinch.

Alongside all this fantastic music is some delicious food and drink. The organisers are passionate about supporting local Northamptonshire businesses whenever they can. Locally brewed cider from Bad Boy Cider of Pipewell and real ale Potbelly Brewery from Kettering will be available, and food caterers include Stanley Street Food, Bakers Bangers or vegan specialists Tacos and Flip Flops.

Tickets can be booked from www.skiddle.com.
