The Wheatsheaf, set in the quiet village of Titchmarsh, just off the A14 and the A605, has recently been revitalised as a traditional village pub under the supervision of June Dove and Manager Gemma Southern.

A beautiful sun-trapped patio and garden area with spring fl owers and plenty of seating now awaits punters as lockdown lifts and, once guidelines permit, Head Chef Leo Grigoriu will create freshly prepared dishes from pub classics to fresh fi sh and Thai curries. The kitchen caters for vegans, vegetarians, coeliac and allergy sufferers, and you don’t want to miss out on the Sunday roast dinners.

During lockdown, Gemma and her team have been offering take-away meals every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and the support from the village has been second to none. They now look forward to offer their great selection of fi ne wines, premium spirits, ales & lagers again, and restart the monthly quiz nights once the pub has fully opened.

The Wheatsheaf at Titchmarsh welcomes walking groups with stunning walks around the local countryside and is very dog friendly. Private functions are catered for, and the pub has disabled parking and access as well as baby-changing facilities. Opening hours are Wednesday from 5pm; Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12noon
