Spanhoe Lodge is run by Reece Crane & Neil
Roberts and set in Laxton, just off the A43
between Corby and Stamford, about 6 miles from
Corby. For the third year running, the couple will
host their Annual Christmas Light Switch-On on
Friday 29th November.

Having spent a small fortune every year on
decorating Spanhoe Lodge with Christmas lights
and inviting friends and family to the switch on,
Reece & Neil opened it up to the general public
as a fund-raising event for Lakelands Hospice
in Corby two years ago. The event was a huge
success, raising in excess of £700; this year the
event is going bigger and better and they hope to
take it over £1000.

Santa’s Market Place will have even more great
gift ideas for Christmas on offer, including toys,
gifts, wreaths, home-made preserves and The
Body Shop products. Returning by popular
demand will be the Photos with Santa in the Pic
N Clix photo booth. Delicious home-made soup
and mulled wine are served along with freshly
baked mince pies. New for this year, will be local
Grasmere Farm hot, freshly baked sausage rolls
and hot, locally sourced turkey rolls.

The event opens at 6pm, with Lights on at 7pm.
As well as all the amazing lights, there will be
carol singers, brass band and Christmas Quiz, all
with free entrance and free parking. The lights
will be on for viewing throughout December.
