Islip-based  start-up ‘Nature’s Nectar’ is launching a crowdfunding project for its range of luxury dessert products for retail, filling a gap in the supermarket shelves for more indulgent, exciting puddings that are made exclusively from natural ingredients and suitable for vegans and gluten avoiders.

After turning to a plant-based diet, founder and food fanatic, Oliver Farmiloe (aged 23), and his mother and former chef, Lesley, noticed a big lack of both gluten-free and vegan desserts.  So they set out on a mission to create a range of products that are not only suitable for people of all different dietary requirements, but also don’t taste or look ‘free-from’ anything!

Nature’s nectar’s products have been receiving incredible feedback since they started doing market research, and attending food festivals.  Their popular Chocolate & Maca Lava Cake even won an award this year, with judges of the FREE-FROM FOOD AWARDS 2019 describing it as: ‘Rich, thick, gooey, fudge gorgeousness!  Satisfying, gently sweet, marvellous mouthfeel’.  Nature’s Nectar’s products also include a Sticky Hot Lemon Sponge and a Peanut Butter & Chocolate Ganache with Salted Caramel Sauce.

Oliver and Lesley are now launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to get their products to market.  They know they have innovative and, more importantly, delicious products.  The proof is in the pudding, so they need the support of the public to successfully get to market.  Once the crowdfunding goes live, there will be opportunities to be the first to try the puddings, as well as other exclusive rewards for pledging your support!
