The Pheasant at Keyston has received The Good Pub Guide Award as 'Cambridgeshire Dining pub of the Year 2019'.  It is the third time in the almost seven years under the current management that the pub has received this prestigious accolade.  Simon Cadge is Chef Patron, having trained at the Old Bridge at Huntingdon, before running his own pub, The Crown at Broughton, and then taking over The Pheasant.  The front of house team is led by Simon's partner Gerda Koedijk.  The couple is supported by John Hoskins, whose family have run or been involved with The Pheasant since 1964.  John and Julia Hoskins’s other business is The Old Bridge at Huntingdon.

The Pheasant is a beautiful, thatched, traditional inn, set in a sleeping farming village 12 miles west of Huntingdon; five miles from Thrapston on the Cambridgeshire/ Northamptonshire border.

The large bar is a traditional and unspoilt mixture of oak beams, large open fires and simple wooden furniture.  At the rear of the pub, there is a more airy Garden Room with a sunny and stylish patio garden beyond.  Whether you are looking for a snack or sandwich, a full meal or just a nice drink, The Pheasant will welcome you in the country side, just off the A14.
