Oundle Town Rowing Club is a volunteer run community club that started in 2001 to make rowing available to those of all ages, abilities and aspirations.

The Club was winner of the 2010 Sports Club of the Year Award for its exceptional work with Adaptive Rowers. They now offer recreational and competitive rowing to all ages and are an Explore Rowing Pioneer Club affiliated to British Rowing.

The Club is currently recruiting for the next learn to row course starting on Wednesday 30th May at 2-4pm and running for six weeks. Participants need have no previous experience and the course, like the Club, is open to men and women of all ages and abilities. Rowers will be using specially designed stable boats to learn in and explore the beautiful sights of the River Nene between Lilford and the Barnwell Mill. The course will be run by Level 2 coach Anita Dunn and a number of other club members from the boathouse between Barnwell and Oundle.

The Cost of the course is £60 and will include all tuition, use of boats and oars, Explore Rowing resources, tea/coffee at the break and FREE Club membership for one month following completion of the course. Silver membership of British Rowing is also required and brings its own benefits, for £24.
