We can’t quite believe it but 2023 marks the 60 year anniversary of Davis Opticians! We’ve grown from a part-time practice in the Thrapston doctor’s surgery in 1963 and one practice in Kettering, to fi ve full time practices in lovely quirky buildings across Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

We still love what we do and we’re constantly evolving and fi nding new products, services and clinical solutions for our patients. From state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to new contact lenses, we love searching out anything exciting and different to help our patients.

Within all this change however our mission statement has always been the same, and it’s really simple – eye care, we care, after care.

Our brilliant team has increased to over forty members, and our services have expanded to include dry eye clinics, visual stress assessments, sports vision, and Myopia control for short sighted children. We stock beautiful eyewear – a far cry from the simple utility frames provided by the NHS in 1963 – and sophisticated lenses to provide for all your visual needs.

We pride ourselves on the very best service and the very highest standards of customer care, and having done this for the last sixty years, we’re looking forward to continuing for the next sixty!
