Once-in-a-lifetime supercar rides, live shows and family attractions will be on offer at The Supercar Event 2018. The two-day interactive supercar festival takes place on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July at Rockingham Circuit, Mitchell Road, NN17 5AF, with 100% of the proceeds donated to The Children’s Trust to help children with brain injury and neurodisability. For the first time since its inception 12 years ago, The Supercar Event will take place at Rockingham Circuit where more than 150 elite performance cars will descend onto track, including the Lamborghini Aventador S, Ferrari 488 and the McLaren 675 LT. You might even spot a celebrity or two, with well-known names such as Chris Evans, Andrea McLean, Shane Richie, Phil Tufnell and Nick Whale taking part in previous years. The event makes a great day out for the whole family, with family attractions including helicopter rides, Caterham Sevens, hovercrafts, an inflatable laser quest and a 4x4 course. Younger guests can take a fire engine ride, try the Mini Monster Truck Mania, enjoy bungee trampolines and so much more. Pre-event ticket sales close at midday on Thursday 5th July. However, tickets will be available to buy at the event. Family tickets (2 adult, 2 children aged 4-16) £30, adults £12, child and concession tickets £8, from www.thesupercarevent.com. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Volunteers are needed on both days whether you are able to commit to one or both of the days. Please note volunteers need to be over 18 years of age and need to be able to commit to arriving from 8.30am and to stay until 5pm. A clear-up team is also required for the Sunday to help pack up and hand over the venue to Rockingham. As a thank you for all of your hard work you will be offered a free family ticket so your family or friends can enjoy the event as well.
