Lee and Lorraine Lewis have recently set
up a charity called ‘The Lewis Foundation’
to help cancer patients and their family as
they go through a difficult time - financially,
emotionally and physically. For the past
two years, they have been fundraising to
provide items for the Talbot Butler Ward at
Northampton General Hospital. This has
included taking part in Obstacle Course
Runs such as Tough Mudder and Rat
Race, and the money raised has funded
eleven televisions and DVD players to
go in the private rooms at Northampton
General Hospital.

The Lewis Foundation aims to help
patients receiving cancer treatment at
Northampton General Hospital or their
family or friends to request an item/s
up to the value of £20, which they feel
would provide comfort and happiness to
a patient whilst on the ward. This could
be assistance with parking for family, new
pyjamas, books, radio, massage, etc. -
anything that at face value may not seem
important but is when you are on the ward
Lee and Lorraine are now looking to
create a team to take part in the Fun
Colour Run in Northampton on the 24th
July and the Comic Con 5k run on the
7th August in Birmingham by running with
them and raise money to provide items
for the patients. Lee and Lorraine can
offer discounted entry fees in exchange
for raising a minimum amount of
sponsorship per person in return. Please
