The Walking for Health scheme runs free,
easy short walks suitable for those with
lower physical ability or long term conditions.
Each walk is led by fully trained and friendly
walk leaders who are highly experienced in
supporting people to get started. Walking for
health is run by Macmillan Cancer Support
and Ramblers Charity. The aim is to get
people active and to help them discover the
joys of walking, including those effected by
cancer. Groundwork Northants overview
the service set up by Kettering Borough
Council.

The walks are carried out at your own
leisurely pace, about 2.5 miles long and
take about 45-60 minutes to complete. Join
for free and explore your local area on one
of the following weekly walks:

Tuesdays
10am from the Burton Latimer Library

Wednesdays
10am from Desborough Leisure Centre
10am from Harvester Kettering Car Park
12.30pm from Kettering Corn Market Hall

Fridays
