We have some exciting events coming up at Cransley Hospice in the coming months starting with our Firewalk on Saturday 8th February at Wellingborough School, London Road, Wellingborough, NN8 2BX, held in conjunction with Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

Why not give yourself a New Year challenge and walk on fi re for Cransley Hospice!

Never done it before? No problem! We will be providing full training for you from Europe’s
most experienced fi rewalking instructor, Cliff Mann. Cliff has safely guided thousands of
people across hot coals and has been setting foot on fl ames for fun for over 30 years.
On the day of the event there will be refreshments, so feel free to invite any friends, family and sponsors to come along and watch you handle the heat.

Registration opens 6.30pm - Motivational workshop 7.00pm - Firewalk 9.00pm Minimum sponsorship required £100 - Deposit of £25 to secure a place.

In March we have our Strictly Got to Dance for Cransley Hospice With MaSh Dance Studio. Taking place on Saturday 22nd March at Wicksteed Park, Kettering where, after lots of rehearsing and hard work, nine teams from local businesses and services will perform two routines each in front of fi ve judges. Starring … Cransley Hospice, KGH Pathology Department, KGH Endoscopy Department, T J Electrical teamed with Turner & Warren Hair Salon, Millbrook Junior School, Kettering Park Hotel, Wilkinson, Mawsley Primary School and  Sainsbury’s. Tickets £10 available from 3 February.

A little further into the year and we are looking forward to our Five Charities Midnight Pyjama Walk, on Saturday 10th May in support of Cransley Hospice, Lakelands Hospice, Inner
Wheel Huxloe, Wren Spinney School and Kettering General Hospital Charity Fund. This is the fifth year of our Midnight Walk and we are hoping to make this year the best yet! Start
planning now to get a group of friends together and come along and have fun whilst supporting
these local charities. Here are some details about where, when and what to look forward to:

The walk starts with a pre-walk warm up from Bill Burton at The Harriers Pavillion, Thurston Drive, Kettering, fi nishing around 12 (midnight) when we will join together at The Trading Post for a midnight feast and a fabulous Bill Burton Disco to end. Sponsorship and Pyjamas optional! Snazzy light up head gear a must! It is a great, fun way to raise money for Cransley Hospice.

Unwanted Gifts
Please remember you can donate any unwanted gifts to Cransley Hospice to be used in tombolas
and raffl es. Why not hold a ‘Give a Gift Day’ at your work place or association.
