After many years of being at home for their families, long-standing friends for over 30 years, Clare Nunley and Toni Faulkner, thought it was about time that they went back to work. One afternoon, while enjoying a cream tea, they talked about opening a coffee shop and decided to get a business plan together to start living a dream. Clare was keen that the shop be opened in Thrapston, where her Dad was born and grew up, and he now loves coming over to reminisce of what used to be where.

Just under a year from first idea, the official opening of The Coffee Trees took place on Saturday 3^rd May, with the Mayor of Thrapston cutting the ribbon. Clare and Toni were delighted to see people queuing along the road at the opening and for most of the day; some customers ate and drank standing outside. The lovely comments and positive feedback they receive even now are amazing.

Their aim is to provide a friendly, relaxed environment for customers to enjoy good quality coffee, fine tea and freshly baked cakes & scones along with breakfast, light lunches, cream tea & afternoon tea. Clare and Toni also want to cater for special dietary requirements including gluten free and dairy free.

The Coffee Trees offers various specials on different days, such as breakfast panini and a regular coffee or a pot of tea at £4.50. A take way service is available and you can order party platters or outside catering and special occasion bespoke cakes. Daily newspapers are provided as is free wi-fi, and there is a loyalty card in operation where you buy five coffees/teas and get the sixth one free.

Monday - Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm

Saturday: 8.15am to 3pm

Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays closed.
