There will be a warm up to get those feet moving before the starting pistol is fi red, and entertainment along the marshalled route to keep the motivation levels high.

A barbecue is planned in the beautiful gardens of Thorpe Hall Hospice as well as activities to keep the supporters busy while the walkers are on route. All the money raised at this year’s Starlight Hike will help pay for the services in the new Thorpe Hall Hospice, which will welcome patients from the start of July. The event is open to all ages including children. It costs just £15 to enter with all entrants receiving a must-have Starlight Hike t-shirt to wear during the event. Walkers are asked to raise £100 through sponsorship.
