The Love Your Body 2015 Calendar is a result of a collection of people who have been touched in some way by the terrible, random disease called cancer. Facing their insecurities, they have bared the most hated parts of their bodies, made them into beautiful imagery, and looked at them in a different way. Each person has a different story to tell, however there are two common goals: fi rst and foremost to raise a substantial amount of money to help eradicate cancer and, secondly, to appreciate healthy, wonderful bodies and to promote a positive body image for women.

Bex Askew of Geddington initially posted the idea on Facebook when she received the news that another lady she knew had died of cancer in her forties. She got an amazing response - models volunteered, an artist, photographer, graphic designer and printer joined, and others helped out behind the scenes. The calendar has been in the making since June, and two days of photo shoots formed the basis of this admirable fund-raising effort.

Each image is dedicated to a person who has suffered from or died from cancer. The group is now trying to get as many celebrities to have a picture taken with the calendar to help promote sales, and a recent interview broadcast by Anglia News is bound to create more interest.

The Love Your Body 2015 Calendar is priced at £10 and is available from Peter Crisp in Rushden, Good Friends Bistro in Grafton Underwood, Askew’s Hairdressing in Kettering and Geddington or you can contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
