| Brigstock Playgroup is delighted to announce the appointment of a new manager, Lisa Meagan. Lisa was appointed after the previous manager, Alison Solesbury, left to pursue new interests after 25 years at the playgroup. The children, staff and playgroup committee alike are delighted to welcome Lisa who, with 11 years experience in early years, is bringing fresh ideas and approaches. Lisa is thrilled to be given the opportunity to run such a lovely, community playgroup full of bright, happy children and caring and committed staff. She has already implemented some new ideas and approaches, with lots more to come. Many of the toys are being upgraded and new ICT toys and tools are being brought in. Brigstock Playgroup is also developing even stronger links with the village school. Brigstock Playgroup is a small, caring and happy playgroup providing preschool care and education for 2 to 5 year olds. It offers a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop to their full potential by learning through play. It plays a key role in the community, with strong links to the village primary school, which many of the children go on to. Brigstock Playgroup is rated as Good by Ofsted and runs on weekday mornings during the term time.
