The exciting art exhibition “Whisper through the trees” will once again take place at the  Yarrow Gallery in Oundle after the extensive refurbishment of the gallery. You are invited to come along and while away a little time in the images created by the artists. The exhibition is open on Saturday 7th until Saturday 15th December, 10am-4pm and entrance is free.

All the artists exhibiting work locally in the area and produce work in a wide range of styles and media.

There will be paintings from Chris Yates, Deborah Carpenter, Krys Witts, Daphne Winsor, Jean Linford, Tamsin Edwards, Helen Chadband &Jane Catherine Sanders. They will embody traditional and contemporary styles in a variety of media from oils to watercolours.

Pip Rawlings produces monoprints and woodcuts. Distinctive Raku vases in black and metallic colours from Pat Armstrong, Rob Bibby’s characterstic homeware, David Herbert is known for his character-full dogs. Dawn Isaac produces sculptures of animals in ceramic which are suitable to go outside in the garden as well as inside. Ingrid Hunter works in moulded glass and ceramics.

Caroline Kisby creates work in felt and moulded silk paper to produce forms and vases. Jane Catherine Sanders painting is extended to delft style tiles and also onto fine ceramic bead jewellery. Sue Kirk turns willow into forms and sculptures, Tony Rawlings is a sculptor reproducing natural forms in stone and bronze Jackie Pringle is a photographer taking pictures of local wildlife and is, this year, doing a year in the life in a regiment of soldiers.
