Accidental Death of an Anarchist
An Oundle School production
Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd November
7.45pm - Tickets £5

In the dingy interrogation room of the Milan police headquarters, Inspector Bertozzo prepares for another quiet day at the offi ce following an unfortunate little incident involving an Anarchist and a window. But when faced with the Maniac, a genius impersonator and devious extremist, Bertozzo realises his day may not be so simple after all. As events spiral out of control one simple question remains: did the Anarchist fall, or was he pushed?

Dario Fo’s classic Italian farce is a darkly funny, deeply political play, rife with suspicion and cover ups, wooden legs and fake moustaches, mistaken identities and some very confused police offi cers. It is here presented by Crosby House and directed by Rohan Perumatantri.

HAMLET by William Shakespeare
An Oundle School production
Thursday 29th November - Saturday 1st December
7.45pm - Tickets £6

Murdered kings, ghosts walking the battlements, graveside fi ghts, drowning, a nation on a warfooting, momentous private theatricals - the ingredients of Shakespeare’s tragic meditation on revenge are well-known. At its heart is the restless, questing, funny and intelligent young prince whose perceived responsibilities sit uneasily alongside ‘the new learning’ of his education. When all occasions, including the supernatural, appear to spur him to a terrible vengeance, he questions not only what he is to do but the very nature of Man.

A talented cast of Oundle School pupils present a fresh staging of this most celebrated play in a production directed by Ali Boag and designed by Ali Dean.

For here lies the point … an act hath three branches
- it is to act, to do and to perform.
