September & October are set to be actionpacked months at Rockingham with back-toback race meetings, track days and driving experiences.

Kicking-off the activities is the circuit’s fl agship motor racing event, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), which heads back to Rockingham on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th September, for a fun-fi lled family weekend.

On Saturday 6th, live music sets from 3pm support a full motorsport programme of practice, qualifying and racing. In a special evening music event, DJ A-Roxx will warm things up before top event bands Jelly Hammer and Rick Parfi tt Jnr and his legendary RPJ Band, take over the stage with performances guaranteed to leave the crowd crying out for more.

On the Sunday 7th, it’s all about the racing as spectators can expect lots of support races and three highly charged BTCC races with seven champions battling it out for supremacy.  Who will win is still anyone’s guess, but one thing for certain is Rockingham will play a crucial part in the outcome of this season’s title race.

If the racing is not appealing enough, there will be a selection of games and activities from face painting to infl atables, to keep the younger ones entertained, and a world Food & Drink Village and a ‘Pop-Up Pub’ complete with pub games, will keep everyone fed and watered throughout the weekend.

Saturday race day tickets start at £11 for adults in advance, while combined passes for the racing and evening music concert are available priced just £21. Weekend, Sunday only and Concert only tickets are all available and camping pitches are priced £5 per adult per day. Children aged 16 and under get in free all weekend!

As always at Rockingham, all tickets include access to a grandstand seat, pit roof and race paddock. Advance tickets can be purchased either online at www.rockingham.co.uk or via the ticket hotline on 01536 500500.

If you miss BTCC, why not join us for one of our Club Race meetings? The fi nal instalment of racing from the British Racing and Sports Car Club and No Limits motorcycle racing are both to come later in the month. Tickets just £10 in advance!

Want to be more than a spectator? Rockingham Track Days mean you can drive your own car on a real race circuit, while the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience makes a great gift for the ‘petrol-head’ in the family to experience driving a bona-fi de American NASCAR – see www.rockingham.co.uk for details.
